How to play Headless Torsos
Headless Torsos is a prompt-and-answer party card game for 3–10 players. One player reads an INBOX card — a real message pulled from a gay dating app — and everyone else answers it with the most unhinged ANSWER card in their hand. A game runs 30–60 minutes.

Setup
- Shuffle the INBOX deck (the blue envelope cards) and the ANSWER deck (the orange paper plane cards) separately.
- Deal seven ANSWER cards to each player, face down.
- Pick who reads first. Traditionally, whoever was most recently ghosted.
Playing a round
- The reader draws an INBOX card and reads the message out loud, in the voice it deserves.
- Everyone else picks the funniest ANSWER card from their hand and plays it face down.
- The reader shuffles the answers, reads them all out, and crowns the one that ruined the room.
- The winner keeps the INBOX card as a point. Everyone draws back up to seven.
- The reader role passes to the left. First player to five INBOX cards wins the whole messy thing.
House rules
- Story Mode
- If a card is too accurate, the player it happened to must tell the real story before the round continues.
- Double Text
- Play two ANSWER cards as one reply. Costs you a point if it doesn't land.
- Block
- Any player may veto one card per game, no explanation given. Very true to the source material.
